When Elliot meets Will, he starts to think he can put the past behind him, but when Elliot learns Will has his own dark secrets, just as Jess is contacted by somebody claiming to be her ...。一个手忙脚乱的父亲(莫罗尼饰)购买了一个家政服务机器人(福克斯饰)来帮忙打理家务、照顾家人，然而随着机器人的意识觉醒，一家人反而陷入了危机之中……。6年前の6月17日、降りしきる雨の中、黒崎一護の母・真咲は、一護に覆いかぶさるようにして原因不明の死を遂げた。 真咲の命日、黒崎一家は真咲の墓参りに向かう。その日、一護は死神代行業を休むつもりでいたが、霊園では朽木ルキアが先回りをして一護のことを待ち構えていた。前日の夜、一護から母は「殺された」と聞かされたルキアは、真咲の死に虚が関与していた可能性を指摘するが、一護はルキアの言葉を打ち消してその場を走り去る。「俺が殺したも同然なんだよ」と自らを責める一護の前に、真咲の姿をした何者かが現れる。同じころ、墓参りをしていた遊子と夏梨が虚の襲撃に遭い、駆けつけたルキアが必死の抗戦を続けていた。。
