本片是央视总台纪录频道推出的第二部饮食文化类系列纪录片，共分六集、六个主题，锁定我国辣椒原产地和重要的食辣区域，通过对本土美食风俗全方位的挖掘，展现各地多样化的食辣文化。 该片全面展现了冬季不可缺少的食材之一“辣椒”的故事。“辣椒”自明代传入中国以来，不断地改变着中国人的饮食文化，时至今日，“辣旋风”席卷全国，从单纯的喜欢一种口味，逐渐演变成一种“火辣”的文化现象。。女主楚千雪因为一场意外车祸，导致昏迷住院时产生了一系列幻想，楚千雪以为世界末日爆发，自己的女儿受到了危险，为了拯救自己的女儿，一路过五关斩六将，与变异人打斗的故事。Super November is a hugely ambitious mixture of mumblecore-style romantic comedy and Orwellian dystopia.
