『ぼくは王さま』をはじめとして、発売以来50余年、子どもたちに愛され、図書館でも貸出し人気の高いお話の『王さまシリーズ』。ちょっとカワイくて、ちょっとナンセンスな不朽の名作です。。虽然此片故事电影和电视已拍过多次，但编导李翰祥在清宫戏的场面铺陈上别有不同，而且情节上也有改动，所以还是较有可观的。如西太后反对维新方面，改为遗老为保全功名和荣华富贵不惜长跪不起，加重她的责任感。光绪幽禁瀛台的出走之夜，西太后又带皇后夜访光绪，并有意还政于光绪。这些细节，使西太后更有人性的真实感情。但描写六君子的戏时过于简略，是影片的一大失误。。Las Vegas stripper, Penny Slot (Rena Riffel), sets out on an adventure to become the star dancer on a dance television show.
