六个陌生人被莫名囚禁在奇异的立方体监狱里。立方体监狱结构繁复且高度精密，地面甚至天花板都是由一个个正立方体组成的。他们没有食物、饮料，身上穿着囚犯般的简陋衣服。大家组成临时小队展开逃亡之旅，他们必须通过一系列的数列排序来前进，稍有不慎就会被立方体内的各种机关杀死。随着时间一分一秒地流逝，冲突也在不断地爆发。显然，他们面对的敌人不仅仅是立方体，还有他们自己。人性的丑恶和自私在这生死边缘显露无遗。。If not for C.C. walking in on them, Maxwell and Fran would have done it in the hospital bed next to Niles.
