The Moliere players are in their dressing room, getting ready to go on set. One actor mentions to another that his face reminds him of an opportunist turncoat he knew when he was in the Resistance. He then relates the adventure that he had in the Resistance, running an illegal radio station and dodging the Nazis.。在种族主义泛滥的美国南方小镇，所有的人都处于某种疯狂状态，而最后这种疯狂行径却给大家都带来了灾难，不管是白人黑人还是政府人员，似乎要摆脱这样的厄运要么是离开要么就是以暴制暴主动出击，要想等疯子们回头无疑是自掘坟墓。。影片根据真实事件改编的小说拍摄而成结尾部分震撼人心。。。。
