Due to an incident, Minjae is put to the test again to protect his students ─ Jigeun and classmates.。『ドラゴンクエスト ダイの大冒険』の劇場用アニメ作品第1作目。 テレビシリーズに先駆けて、最初に制作されたアニメ版でもある。 原作の読み切り第2作目『ダイ爆発!!!』をアレンジした話であり、本編とは繋がらないパラレル作品になっている。。
