本片根据1852年美国作家梅尔维尔小说改编（应该说是“启发”），讲述某富家子弟皮埃尔跟守寡的母亲一起住在乡村别墅，他正打算跟女友露西结婚，却冒出一个名叫伊萨贝尔的女子，声称自己是他的同父异母妹妹。他不得不跟伊萨贝尔搬到巴黎，并开始乱伦之恋。。即將超過適婚年齡的打擊樂演奏者一禾，結識了鄰居大仁，二人在PUB中因談心又喝醉而有了進一步的接觸。一禾的家人知道後，誤會一禾懷孕而力促二人結婚。在籌備婚禮的過程中，父親、祖母和大仁忙進忙出好似一家人，一禾反而被置身之外無法參與。事件進行中，一禾一方面思考自己走上婚姻之路的理由，一方面想到父親對自己的期望與不捨，一禾面臨著這「終身大事」帶來的矛盾心境.....在結婚當天，一禾終於決定逃婚，去自己真正嚮往的地方。。An inept gang of bank robbers, led by George The Brain, are caught and sentenced to 15 years hard labour each. When they are released from prison they start out to collect the money they had stolen and which George had hidden in a hollow tree during the chase in which they were caught. The only trouble is that the tree was in the middle of a lonely lane when they were imprisone...。
