将棋初学者田中步对八乙女漆一见钟情，加入了将棋部。 “赢了的话就向前辈告白！”但是实力远远不及。 另一边，对于步的“攻势”，漆内心动摇…… 在只有两个部员的将棋部，今天也展开了棋盘上和棋盘外的交锋……！。When the monks living at a small rural monastery face it being transformed into a hotel due to the lack of income, a newcomer monk convinces them their only chance is teaching them soccer。
