What will it take to save CliffSide from some rather unconventional evil in the surrounding cliffs, and will our hero ever actually learn anything?。原本拥有美满生活的拉菲克有一天突然无端发狂，砸烂了办公室并跳出窗外，人们以为他企图自杀。最终拉菲克被捕入狱。四年后，拉菲克刑满出狱，他心里只有一个念头：带儿子去看看他的发现——他一切行为的源头。尽管妻子和岳父极力阻止，他还是从学校带走了儿子。在躲避警察的过程中，他们偶遇了一位牧羊人，并在一座乡间小屋过夜，事情开始变得奇怪了起来……。
